The biOrb starter kits set customers up with everything they need to establish their new aquarium at home. Ornaments, artificial plants and other accessories can be purchased and added separately. All biOrb aquariums come with LED lighting. “LED biOrb” come with white LED lights, while “MCR biOrb” come with Multi-Colour Remote controlled LED lighting. The MCR lighting has 16 pre-set colours, brightness controls and has different modes that simulate the light conditions of day and night in four different time cycles. It works by allowing 15 minutes of gradually increased brightness from sunrise to daylight, then either 7.5, 9.5, 11.5 or 13.5 hours of daylight and then 15 minutes from sunset to night time. This lighting system ensures a peaceful light transition for your fish - perfect for dark rooms! 

biOrbs are made from acrylic, which is incredibly strong. It is so strong, in fact, that it is used in airplane windscreens! Acrylic is also very clear; it has a transparency rating of 93% making it the clearest material known. Being a good insulator, acrylic has very little heat loss so minimal energy is needed for heating your biOrb aquarium. 

biOrbs come with a 2 year guarantee for the aquarium and a 1 year guarantee for the transformer and air pump, excluding wear and tear parts.
